MISSION STATEMENT

The production mission of Wallis Enterprises is to produce and exchange quality visual works manufactured on various platforms and mediums; works that socially and emotionally engage. We work to achieve this objective in innovative ways. Our functional mission is to revolutionize the practice, culture and business of producing and exchanging visual works; and successfully and truthfully frame its value to society.

BUSINESS IDEA

Our business idea is to sell fine art prints, posters and t-shirts that have on them fine art photographs taken in India and Nepal. These images will portray peoples and landscapes and be a standout for their artistic and natural beauty. The photos will be taken by Tim two to three times yearly. Only the images captured that demonstrate the highest artistic quality will be accepted. There are existing markets for these products. We go a step further than our competitors and invite the general public to meet the artist, his work and life through events and free regular and diverse content.

We intend to integrate video into our business model. The videos will be about the artist, his adventures, the locations, people and lifestyle of India and Nepal, and our business activities. These videos will be free or cost and often be integrated into the website.

Our business image or content is listed in priority and divided based on similarities. Numbers indicate points of connection.

E-books/training/advice/resources (business):

As we grow we aspire to create other visual works. Our future business activities may include video, literature and publishing. The early stages of this business involve photography and film. Later we may produce documentaries, DVD’s, portfolio folders, travel books, or create partnerships with independent skilled Indians.

Our initial projects include…

1. Luxury train journeys of India

Filming everything from the train in landscape, to interiors to working areas; from wealthy passengers to the men and women who keep it going.

2. Bollywood – beneath the stars

Photograph and film the stories of Bollywood workers from the tea boy to the chorus girls. Everything but the stars.

3. India Today

A photographic book and documentary shot by Indians during a particular 24 hour period.

4. Indian story

The stories of Indians in the news. (A little like Australian Story)

5. Creative Communities

A photographic book, documentary shoot and tours highlighting the creative communities of India from silver smiths to jewellers to puppet makers to stone carvers.

6. Hill Station

A photographic book and documentary series highlighting the hill stations of North India.
